Our take: Khuxi Corner is doing something genuinely useful for the east side of Singapore — bringing North Indian cooking to Tampines/Pasir Ris without the trek to Little India.

The tandoori chicken draws consistent praise: well-charred, juicy, served with a green chutney that earns its own mentions.

The $9 butter chicken skews savoury over sweet, which divides opinion but wins over those tired of cloying versions elsewhere.

Aloo paratha at $3.80 is solid value, and the cheese naan and hot fluffy plain naan round out a strong bread game.

The menu spans North Indian and Indo-Chinese, giving groups real range.

That said, we can't ignore the hygiene complaints in the review pool — they're too specific and too serious to wave away.

A food-safety incident allegation and repeated notes about undercooked or frozen chicken suggest quality control is inconsistent, not just the occasional off-night.

The stall setting (HDB food court) means table upkeep depends on turnover pace.

Verdict: A strong neighbourhood option for Indian food cravings in the east, best suited to regulars who visit during busy service hours when food is turning over fast and freshness peaks.

First-timers should lean toward the tandoori chicken or naan sets rather than curries, and verify your order is piping hot before digging in.

What customers say

Khuxi Corner in Tampines draws strong praise for its North Indian and Indo-Chinese dishes, with the tandoori chicken, butter chicken, cheese naan, and chicken tikka masala repeatedly highlighted as standouts — chef Madhu and the team (Chandan and Shakeel) are named individually for their skill and welcoming service.

Regulars value it as a convenient, affordable alternative to making the trip to Little India, with fluffy naans, generous portions, and well-balanced spices consistently noted.

However, two serious dissenting voices raise significant food safety and hygiene concerns, including reports of undercooked frozen chicken and a family illness incident traced to the stall — complaints that have persisted across multiple visits for at least one reviewer.

The majority sentiment is enthusiastic, but the hygiene allegations represent a meaningful reputational risk that cuts against the otherwise high ratings.

great place for a good meal! :) the food did not disappoint! cheese naan lived up to its name, super cheesy, super yummy! butter chicken wasn't sweet(good thing)! even my near-zero spice tolerance could take it (also a good thing hehe i loved it so much). combined? WOW. my tongue is BLESSED. the plain naan was also good! tandoori chicken lived up to my standards! yummyy 😋 the stall is located in a small food court, and the environment is generally clean but the tables might be wet or have some crumbs on them. but that's alright because in this world we have tissues! the staff are really nice too! they gave us free papadam and they helped us pack our food to bring home as takeaway! i've eaten here with my family multiple times, and they have never disappointed me! the food is always up to my standard. plus, the food served is always hot! can't wait to eat here again! delicious food 😋💗

OMG!!!, “One of the best Indian food stalls we’ve visited! The menu offers an amazing mix of both Northern and Southern Indian cuisine, and every dish was full of authentic flavour. The butter chicken, butter+Garlic naan, Palak Paneer and Gobi Manchurian dishes were all delicious and freshly prepared with passion. The spices were well balanced, portions were generous, and the service was friendly and welcoming. Boss gave a superb recommendation for our first visit and all the dishes really “spot on and shine.” We enjoyed very much and will delighted. We can really taste the quality and passion in the cooking. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Indian food in Singapore!” . One of the best Indian stall in our homeland Singapore. A mighty big shout out to Chandan, Madhu and Shakeel - passionate persons, taking pride delivering amazingly Indian food. 👍

Highly recommend that everyone try their tandoori chicken, it's incredibly juicy and bursting with flavour. The chicken is charred just the right amount and their green sauce complements the chicken really really well. The vibes of the place are quite nice, it's a simple area but the food more than makes up for it!
